Dec is an intern at RCI Bank in London for this coming year. 
RCI of course are Nissan / Renault. 
He got to 'experience' the new 2017 Nissan GT-R. 

Wishin' and a hopin' .....  LOL 
Thus said, it's a cool look for Dec, methinks. 

The Japanese engine builder's name is imprinted on the engine.
However given the quality of the photo it is difficult to decipher.

We took the highway bus to Sendai to attend Church. 

After that we ate lunch in a new-to-us shop there. 

 It was fine. We will go back again sometime in the future. 

And we enjoyed walking about in Sendai.

the 21st of September, 2016 

Happy 8th Anniversary to us !  

Eight years ago today,  in 2008,  Chikako moved from That City to This City. 

The 21st was a Wednesday and we both worked, 
however the next day, Thursday the 22nd was a public holiday in Japan. 
So we decided to celebrate on that day, albeit very rainy, instead. 

Above    Chikako bought some flowers to celebrate the occastion.
Below    We walked up in the rain at 6 pm to HiFuMi Restaurant for dinner. 

As always, HiFuMi was wonderful ! 
Plus we drank a bottle of Australian YellowGlen  Pink. 

Happy Anniversary to us.

the 18th of September, 2016 

We went for lunch at a Chinese Restaurant in this City which we often go to. 

Soon the restaurant will go to make way for a new, large FMU Building 
in the middle of This City  ! 

We will be sad to see this shop go !

We are members of a Walking Group. 

This year we have only been able to participate in one walking event

due to either the weather or to not being in Japan. 

However, this Sunday we managed to bring it all together and go walking. 

Yay ! 

 Yukie and Chikako just after signing in at Iizaka Station.

 The rice paddys are looking golden and wonderful. 

4.3 kms into the walk there was a pit stop. 

Some light refreshments .... 

Some goldfish lazing about in the pond. 

After the walk we caught the train back and then met Emi and Momo Chan

at the station. We all went back to our apartment for lunch together. 

It was fun, as it always is .
